Guillotine Care
Health and Safety
As outlined in the HSE regulations book all powered guillotines require regular checks to ensure safe working operation. Just like an MOT on your car, a guillotine requires a health check, by law, every 6 months by a trained and certified guillotine engineer as well as daily, weekly and monthly checks by the trained operators.
As part of a Guillotine Care Service Contract, Well Finished will train operators on the safe use of power guillotines before providing a certificate of compliance. The customer is also supplied with a Guillotine Log Book to comply with Health and Safety Regulations.
These requirements are law and governed by the Health and Safety executive.
Blade Regrind Service
Well Finished offers a blade regrind service, as well as supplying new blades and cutting sticks. Please do not hesitate to contact us for this service.
Installation, Maintenance & Repair
Installation and Training
Every machine supplied in Scotland will be delivered and installed by one the Well Finished Team. After installation, ongoing training is offered to you and new members of staff. Training certificates are also available after the training session.
Maintenance
All Print Finishing Machines need serviced or maintained from time to time. The Well Finished Technical Team are on hand to carry out repairs to a wide variety of machinery. Maintenance can be carried out either on site or at our workshop, where we can do basic repairs or full refurbishments.

In the event of a machine breakdown our emergency response time is within eight hours, in many cases sooner! Well Finished offer a range of service contracts throughout Scotland. A typical service contract includes two services a year with one additional breakdown call out.
